Hi. So glad you made it here.
Well, I wanted to make my first blog post about me because I don't put enough of who I am on any of my social media stuff. So, here we are. Hi (again), my name is Erishyll, but I go by Mae and it's a lot easier for people to say and remember. I am Filipino, if you can't tell, and I have lived here since I was 2 years old. I have a wife of 4 years but have been together for 10 years. I have a cat named Willow and my wife and I just bought our first home! Along with photography, I do have another job working in a hospital. When I'm not photographing my awesome couples or clients, I am either working nights taking care of patients or editing till my eyeballs fall out. Having a part-time job and doing photography, probably 90% of the time, does kind of get to me, but I still enjoy it. Some people would say I'm always on the go and now that I think about it, I don't even know when I actually sleep.
So, normally you would never see me in front of the camera because I'm so camera shy. I feel like that is a common reason why photographers are the way they are. I love making people feel beautiful through my pictures and I love that I can be an artist through my photography. My inspiration comes from other photographers, my friends, Pinterest, going out to the store, walking around downtown, etc. Photography is an outlet for me and to show everyone that I am here and ready to create.
Anywho, that's a little bit about me. Can't wait to meet you. I promise I'm a lot more fun than this blog post. ;)
